The Brownstone NJ Wedding: Beth & Bujar’s Winter Celebration
Beth and Bujar’s wedding took place on December 28th, right in that space between Christmas and New Year’s when everything feels a little more festive. They chose The Brownstone NJ wedding venue for their reception, and it was the perfect setting for a warm, elegant celebration with family and friends.
The day started at Beth’s parents’ house, where she got ready surrounded by her sisters, nieces, nephews, and even the family dog, Pepper. I always tell couples that the getting-ready part of the day isn’t just about hair and makeup, it’s about the people who are there with you, the hugs, the nervous excitement, the laughter, and all the moments that set the tone for the rest of the day.
Their ceremony took place in a beautiful church, filled with candlelight and quiet anticipation. Since it was a winter wedding and daylight fades fast, most of their couple photos were taken indoors later, at the Brownstone NJ wedding venue. But that worked out perfectly — we leaned into the moodier lighting, using flash to create bold, timeless portraits that suited them so well. Flash photography brings out a different kind of energy, adding depth and a cinematic quality that felt just right for their portraits.
For their reception at The Brownstone NJ wedding venue, the bride chose deep green as the main color. The mix of greenery, warm lighting, and the end-of-year celebration vibe made the whole space feel inviting and lively. One of the best parts of the night was seeing Beth and Bujar’s cultures come together. With a mix of Albanian and Slovakian dances and music, the celebration felt even more personal.
