Shadowbrook at Shrewsbury NJ quickly became one of my favorite wedding photography spots with its grand Georgian mansion, perfectly kept gardens, and soaring windows that wrap you in calm the moment you arrive. Ashley and Matt picked it for their elegant New Jersey wedding.
Before their first look near the mansion’s grand entrance, they exchanged heartfelt handwritten cards in a quiet moment that radiated their deep connection, leading to emotional laughs and tears as they fell into that effortless rhythm everyone loves. The ceremony followed in the light-filled Shadowbrook wedding pavilion that feels almost outdoors. After “I do,” I suggested sneaking to the back garden for 15 minutes alone, capturing raw joy amid golden light and greenery for shots we all treasure, before their Shadowbrook at Shrewsbury reception exploded in the luminous ballroom with high ceilings and glowing chandeliers, blending Italian mother-son dances that melted hearts with Indian drummers, Bollywood beats, and a nonstop dance floor packed with guests in traditional outfits.
Ashley and Matt embraced every beat without rushing, laughing with their people and filling the night with alive energy that makes these photos feel so real. It’s no wonder this NJ mansion wedding venue, with its endless portrait spots and seamless staff, remains a dream for any New Jersey wedding photographer.

Leading up to both events she gave us helpful advice and kept in communication so we were never left in the dark. On our wedding day she was timely, organized, and efficient.
