Jenna and Zach met at a mutual friend’s birthday party in the West Village, shortly after Covid restrictions had eased. They discovered they had grown up in the same New Jersey hometown, just a few years apart, and had their first date over sushi the following week. Everything felt easy from the start.
Jenna has always loved the look and feel of film photography, so they chose me as their NJ film wedding photographer for both digital and film coverage. Their wedding at Fiddler’s Elbow Country Club was especially meaningful because Jenna had known the property since high school, when she worked summers at the club’s restaurant. Her dad had also joked for years that she would one day get married there, despite her insisting it was “not her vibe.” Their country club wedding on film included a traditional Jewish ceremony, the signing of the ketubah, the chuppah, and all the meaningful moments in between. This gallery is entirely photographed on film.
If you’re thinking of capturing your NJ wedding on film, I would love to help you with that. Film doesn’t rush. The colors, the softness, the way light falls, it all creates a completely different feel from digital. If you’re looking for a NJ film wedding photographer and want your photos to feel honest, nostalgic, and real, I’d love to document your day!
