Beth and Bujar’s wedding day was full of love and genuine moments, and capturing their NJ wedding on film made everything feel even more alive. Beth got ready at her parents’ house, surrounded by her sisters, nieces and nephews. The house was filled with family — kids running around, the little dog called Pepper following Beth everywhere, laughter echoing from different rooms. That morning felt completely natural and documentary-like, and that’s exactly what I aimed to capture as a film wedding photographer NJ.
Their ceremony took place in a beautiful church, where the soft, natural grain of film photography captured the warmth of the candlelight and the depth of emotion in every glance. For their reception at The Brownstone in Paterson, NJ, the bride chose deep green as the main color. Since their wedding was on December 28th, right between Christmas and New Year’s, it had that perfect mix of elegance and holiday festivity. Greenery, warm lighting, and the joy of guests coming together at the end of the year made the atmosphere feel both cozy and celebratory. I love how film renders these tones — the richness of the greens, the golden glow of the venue, the way motion is captured in a single frame when guests are dancing or raising a glass.
